Habernashery Hand Dyed Threads

Our threads are hand dyed in small batches in Knoxville, Tennessee. We offer three thread bases; Sugar Silk, Half & Half, and Sparkle. Learn more about each below!

Get to know our threads

  • Sugar Silk

    Sugar Silk is our most luxurious thread, made up of 100% Grade A Mulberry Silk. Our Sugar Silk skeins are 30 yards each and recommended for both 13 + 18 mesh canvas.

  • Half & Half

    Half & Half is for the Silk and Merino Wool blend lovers looking for both shine and strength.  Our Half & Half skeins are 30 yards each and recommended for 13 mesh canvas.

  • Sparkle

    Sparkle is our workhorse Wool thread with a fun pop of glitter. It is made up of 75% Wool, 15% Nylon, 10% Sparkle and recommended for both 13 + 18 mesh canvas.

The Important Details

Samples

If you would like to order a sample of our threads, you are more than welcome to purchase 1 or 2 of each of our thread bases to test out. Samples will only be sent out in our Natural color.

Barcodes

All skeins will have a hanging tag affixed by a round safety pin that has a barcode. You can access a barcode data file for each thread type in this Google Drive.


Photos

I am working on uploading the missing photos for colors that were not originally dyed as part of my first launch. In the meantime, you can access this Google Drive where you can download the available pictures for our threads. Check back in the future for the missing colors!

Ordering & Payment Details

If you would like me to send you an invoice directly instead of ordering individual threads via our website, please email me at corinna@habernashery.com with the thread base, colors and quantity you would like. The full lines of each thread base are the same 48 colors. Full payment is due when your order is placed. Unpaid invoices are not confirmed orders and will only be placed in the fulfillment queue based on when the order is officially paid.

Shipping

You have the choice of UPS or USPS shipping when ordering. If you request to invoice through me directly, UPS Ground is the default choice. All threads come packed in cellophane bags inside a large plastic bag inside of the shipping box. If you are interested in shipping insurance, please reach out to me for a quote.

Timing

The response to our threads has been absolutely incredible! I am constantly working on ways to increase production without sacrificing quality. With that being said, we are currently looking at a 12-15 week fulfillment time.* If you place an order in the coming weeks/months we cannot guarantee this fulfillment time as capacity may have been filled by another store in the meantime. *(as of October 5th)
